The complete seven-part document, with a page that names where each missing answer lives.
In your inbox within a minute, as a finished PDF, with the free 33-page Handover Guide. Nothing to fill in first. Want your own details written in later? That is included, whenever it suits you. A person reads it, and it is back by email within one business day. Add a postal address and a printed copy is posted to you too, included. Allow up to 10 working days for the post. Read the Guide first — it's free.
If anything comes back wrong, tell us and we'll put it right. And if it still isn't right, the £29 comes back — 30-day money-back.
If you later take The Household Continuity Dossier within 30 days, the £29 counts in full toward it — same email at checkout, applies by itself.
No account, no password, and nothing to fill in first. If you later want your own details written in, that is included.
Valoren is Joel Patterson's own small business in England, run by him alone while the company is being formed. Write to hello@valoren.uk and it reaches him.
Before you pay we ask for your email, which part of the UK is home and, if you like, your name. Nothing else. If you add your own details later, they name institutions only — never account numbers, sort codes or passwords. They are held on our secure server, and an email to hello@valoren.uk has them erased.
Prepared for the part of the UK you choose. At checkout you say whether home is England & Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, and the legal steps inside — registering a death, probate or confirmation, the court fee, Tell Us Once — are printed for that nation. The records hold anywhere in the UK. Scotland and Northern Ireland each have their own page.

30-day money-back on The Family Handover Kit.
One payment, nothing recurring. You keep your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Valoren’s 30-day money-back goes further than the law asks, so you are covered for longer either way.
The gap no one warns you about
A will says who inherits. It says nothing about the first fortnight. The first fortnight is where families get stuck.

The day it happens
Two people who are perfectly capable, and have nothing to go on.
The account nobody can get into.
A bank freezes a sole account the day it learns of a death. Bills keep arriving. Nobody knows which banks to tell, so some are never told.
With the kit: every bank, insurer and pension named on one page, with the number to ring.
The search through drawers.
The will is somewhere. The LPA is somewhere. The pension from the job in 1998 is nowhere. Families spend the first weeks investigating instead of acting.
With the kit: where each thing is kept, named — the drawer, the safe, the solicitor.
Tell Us Once doesn't tell the bank.
The registrar's service notifies government departments. It does not notify a single bank, insurer or pension provider. That letter-writing is the family's.
With the kit: the list of who still has to be told, with a line to record when each was.
If you hesitated on even one, that's the thing your family would be hunting for.
Not because they aren't capable — because the answer was only ever in your head.
Three steps, and the third one is optional.
The kit moves that work to a calm afternoon. See the full timeline, dated → The deadlines and fees on this page are for England and Wales — Scotland and Northern Ireland have different rules, as does the Republic of Ireland.

A finished kit, opened out
The seven parts, the clock, and the cards — one sheet each, on the table it was written at.
What's actually inside a real handover kit
A folder of paperwork is not a handover. A handover answers questions, in the order a family actually asks them — miss any one and the people left behind aren't administering, they're investigating.
Who to call first. One named person, with a phone number that works. Everything else waits; this doesn't.
Where things are kept. The drawer, the safe, the solicitor's office — named, not assumed.
The legal position. Whether a will exists and where. Whether a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) is registered — and for what.
The medical essentials. GP, medications, allergies. The questions a hospital asks in the first hour.
The financial picture. Which banks, which policies, which pensions — names, not balances. Enough to notify, not enough to steal.
Digital access. The recovery routes for email and phone. Without these, half of modern life is simply locked.
Funeral wishes. Burial or cremation, whether a plan is already paid for, and where fuller wishes are written down. One decision the family never has to make blind.
Everything above is an output of the same household record, entered once.
In their words
A real eye-opener
My husband and I thought we'd already done this. We'd written out the ‘important’ details, bank accounts and so on. Then I read the kit and there was quite a bit I'd never thought of. A real eye-opener, and a very worthwhile investment. So pleased I got it.
One step towards easing it for my family
I've wanted to do this for a very long time. It's never an easy time for anyone, but with everything gathered in one folder it must surely ease the strain on my family when the time comes. Joel was so helpful with the documents, and offered more help if I need it. Thank you Joel 💖
Very easy to use
Broken down into simple steps, what to do and when. Very easy to use. Hopefully it makes things easier for my children when the time comes.
Worth every penny
Worth every penny. Outstanding customer service and communication, and the instructions and advice were outstanding too. So glad I've found you, thank you.
Excellent follow-up
Ordered and paid online and it came straight to me by email. There's a lot to it so I haven't read every page yet, but the follow-up has been excellent and I know I can get in touch if I need help. Very useful.
Quick help with a printer problem
I had a bit of a problem with my printer, trying to get it to print out one of my documents. I contacted a member of staff, who replied very quickly and told me what to do. As a result I was able to print the document I needed. Excellent help, and well worthy of my 5 stars.
Two versions of the same day.
Nobody knows who to ring first.
The will is somewhere in the house.
Three banks told, two forgotten.
The phone is locked, and the email with it.
Burial or cremation — guessed at, under pressure.
One name, one number, on the first page.
The will's location, named.
Every bank, insurer and pension listed, with a line for the date told.
The recovery route for the phone and the email.
The wish, written down, before anyone has to guess.
One sitting captures it. Everything above is what the seven parts hold.

The second version
Nothing to search for. It is on the table, and it was written while there was time.
Common questions
What if I get something wrong, or spot a mistake after it arrives?
Reply to the delivery email and it's corrected and re-issued, no charge. If it still isn't right, the £29 comes back under the 30-day money-back.
What's the difference between a will and a handover kit?
A will says who inherits; a handover kit says who to call and what to do first. Neither replaces the other — a household needs both.
Does a handover kit need to be signed, witnessed or notarised?
No — it grants no legal authority and needs no formalities. It simply shows the people acting where the real legal instruments, like a registered LPA or grant of probate, are kept.
My family already knows most of this. Do I still need one?
Write it down anyway — memory is least reliable exactly when it's needed, under grief and deadline. It isn't for the day everything is normal; it's for the week nothing is.
Age UK's LifeBook is free — is a paid handover kit worth it?
Age UK's LifeBook is a genuinely good free workbook — use it if that's all your household needs. The Kit works the other way round: it arrives already written, with the deadlines and what to do first in it, and nothing to fill in. Having your own details written in is included whenever it suits you — read through by a person, and back by email within one business day.
What's the refund position — and what if a subscription is more than I want?
There's a 30-day money-back on the £29 Kit. If you move up to a bigger product within 30 days, your £29 counts in full toward it.
What if my household needs more than a kit?
Most families never do. Some do — a trust, powers of attorney, a business to pass on, an estate near the inheritance-tax threshold. Signum, our own desk, carries that work through named regulated professionals, with the scope agreed before any fee is. See what Signum does →
£29, against what it replaces
One payment. In your inbox within a minute. Nothing recurring.
The first hours on many estates are spent finding out what this document already says.
If it isn't right, tell us and it's put right. If it still isn't, the £29 comes back.
30-day money-back, with a name on it.
Reply to the delivery email, or write to hello@valoren.uk — it reaches me, not a queue. If the kit isn't right, it's corrected and re-issued at no charge. If it still isn't, the £29 comes back.

Most households only ever need the Kit.
It is the whole handover, written up and finished. Two other things exist for households that want more, and they are here so you can see them rather than find them later. If you move up within 30 days, your £29 counts in full toward it.
The Family Handover Kit
Written up and emailed as a finished document. Everything your family would have to find, already found — and nothing to fill in.
